What is the adventure of a lifetime? I have traveled from one end of our world to the next; which has taken a lifetime. I have encountered many different people from all walks of life. I have written prolifically of my journeys and the many knowledges I have come upon. Yet all these things I do not consider to be adventure. It is true that there were times when I was in danger, though I never purposefully sought it out. There were times when I knew that things were not right; not how they were supposed to be, and yet I did not endeavor to fix them. I have seen many innocent lives senselessly lost, but I could not save them. I have been graced by the company of many a noble man and woman, from different lands and even beyond Fortannis, and yet I did not aspire to be like them. It is true that without bravery and a sense of justice all of our people would have long ago been devoured by darkness. For every new villain that emerges, a hero must be born to defy them. This is how we have made it this far, and there is no turning back.
